Today, I want to talk about the idea of finding your life purpose. And what I mean when I say life purpose is the answer to the question, “why am I here?” As a life coach who specializes in past life regression, this is a question that I hear a lot of people ask. “Why did I choose to incarnate, right now? In this body? In this time?” Especially now, in these times today, because there is a lot going on, people wonder what they are here to express and who they are meant to be or become.
Sometimes a life purpose can be a career, although it doesn’t have to be. Some people are looking for a job that will express their life purpose, but it can also be a hobby, or even a calling such a being a mother or helping people.
One of the ways that you can discover your life purpose is by looking at your past, in your past lives. By looking to see what was fulfilling to you before, or what you have learned or done. You can also look at the mistakes you have made, before in a past life. When you start to see your journey as a bigger picture and open the curtain on the window to see that there has been a journey over many lifetimes, that helps your life purpose come more into focus.
Now, my opinion is that part of why we are here is to discover your life purpose. But we have to embrace the journey and not be impatient, and also have compassion for ourselves. This is the mystery; we are born forgetting who we were before, and we are supposed to remember and figure out who we are going to be.
One of the things that happens during a past life regression is that you can see the past, perhaps there was a career that you had before or something that you loved doing. Or maybe there was something that you missed out on doing. I get people who have remembered past lives connected to a particular profession that they have then applied that profession to this life. But, the idea is to discover more about who you are, why you are here, the individual journey that includes all of your past lives or all of things that you have done in the past. So, once you know the past or where you have been before, you can better understand where you are right now, and also figure out where you would like to go in the future.
