No one needs reminding of how difficult life is right now, today on planet earth.

And as troubling events in the world, as well as in our communities and families keep intensifying and becoming more and more shocking, we keep hearing things like these times today are “unprecedented” or have never happened before.

The truth is, we have been here before.

Not only have we dealt with the issues at hand today such as greed, abuse of power, prejudice, hatred, mistrust, divisiveness, racism, sexism, violence, exploitation, and more before – in fact, these problems are nearly as old as time itself and can be traced back to the earliest accounts of our own human history.

But – WE have also been here before.

All of us have lived many, many lifetimes in human form, in many different time periods, countries or places on earth, and different bodies.

We have already earned the wisdom necessary to navigate these troubling times, by way of our own past lives and the variety of lessons and experiences we have already had.

And so, on some level, we already know what we need to do to create the change that the world so desperately needs right now.

Every single person alive today has chosen to be here right now.

We chose this life in order to challenge ourselves, to learn more, to grow to be better, more loving beings, and to evolve on a deep, soul level.

We also signed up to be part of a larger, collective change that is happening for all of us here on planet earth.

By remembering who you really are – a soul, not a body, on a journey over many lifetimes, you can also realize that you have all of the tools and wisdom that are needed to create a new future.

One that features more compassion, empathy, connection, understanding, peace, and love.
