One of the things that I have learned over the years from working with people helping them uncover past life memories is that life here on planet earth seems to be a kind of school.
And because we are beings who learn by doing, we are born into each lifetime in order to challenge ourselves to grow and evolve by way of navigating life and the various challenges and situations that present themselves.
We also choose the circumstances of our birth: who our parents are, where we live, what we look like, our economic or social status, what losses and heartbreak we will experience, what we long for in order to feel fulfilled emotionally, our talents and gifts, and much more.
But even though we have chosen to reincarnate and to be here, right now in a human body, during this time on planet earth, nothing about the choices we will make in life are in any way predetermined.
We are born into a kind of “forgetting”, meaning that as spiritual beings who are temporarily occupying a human body, many of us get so caught up in our daily, physical lives that we can forget our own, divine nature and that we are souls on a journey over many lifetimes.
We often forget that this is school and that we are here to learn.
The best advice that I can give to anyone who is trying to navigate the lessons we are here to learn consciously, to maximize the potential we all have for growth and evolution in this, our current lives is when you are confronted with a situation in life that feels like a lesson or a challenge, ask yourself: what choice can I make that is the most loving?
Love is the key to all of the lessons that we have reincarnated to learn, and that includes the love for the self as well as love for others.
We reincarnate to learn lessons about love, and many of these lessons are not easy.
In fact, love is why we are here – to experience love, to give and receive love, and to ultimately become love by way of remembering that we ARE love.
